Von Dutch was created in the early 2000s by Michael Cassel and Robert Vaughn. The brand is named after Kenny Howard, a motorcycle mechanic and artist who was famous for his talent as a pinstriper and neo-Nazi beliefs who went by the nickname Von Dutch.
